Meadows Garage Doors Service Tech, Jovanni Angon did our annual maintenance service and check-up yesterday. I found his work and attitude to be overall outstanding. This was our 1st time to meet. Jovanni took the time to discover more about my needs, expectations, and risk tolerance before rushing to advocate solutions. This was critical to me for building trust. He then clearly demonstrated he placed my needs in front of his commission opportunities. He showed knowledge and expertise in his diagnosis and installation of new lower plates for the spring tension cables. His demeanor was professional, yet personable, and friendly. In summary, Jovanni is both an asset and a brand ambassador for Meadows. He’s “a keeper”. Please recognize and reward Jovanni appropriately. Kind regards, Patrick Montgomery Trophy Club ps: see picturePosted on Jim MurphyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a wonderful experience. Super knowledgeable and friendly. He is a great worked and good Meadows AmbassadorPosted on Steven HuizengaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I came home from work and my garage door wouldn't open. I've never needed garage door service before, so I Googled it, and Meadows came up with 5 stars. Being the skeptic that I am I thought "this is a scam". No one gets over a thousand reviews and still averages 5 stars. So, I thought I'll call and see what 5-star service looks like. Brett and Jovanni showed up bright and early the next morning. They diagnosed my problem, presented several solutions, long term and short and had me back in business in 90 minutes. They taught me more about garage doors than I thought was possible. I appreciate their commitment to safety. I also appreciate there was no "hard sell" tactics. Overall, a great service. I'm a believer.

Garage Door Repair FAQs
This may be due to something blocking your garage door sensors. These sensors are located at the base of your garage door. If the sensors can’t see each other, the door won’t close. This keeps it from closing on any people, pets, or possessions. Try clearing away any dust or dirt from the sensors and make sure they’re aligned properly and that nothing’s in the way. If this still doesn’t work, give us a call and we’ll inspect your garage door and opener.
Before you do anything else, make sure your garage door can fully close without manually shutting it. Check if the hardware is still aligned, including the tracks and the torsion springs. Torsion springs are what helps close your garage door completely. If there are signs of rusting or separation between the black coils in the torsion springs, contact Meadows Garage Doors for repair! Our technicians can assess the situation, and quickly perform a garage door spring replacement as well as garage door opener repair.

The number one reason for repeated garage door spring failure is simple wear and tear. The average lifespan of a garage door spring is built to last about 10,000 cycles– one cycle being the garage door opening fully and coming back down to close. For a reliable, long-lasting garage door, ask a Meadows Garage Doors professional about what the best option could be for you.
Here are a few signs that your opener needs repair:
- Garage door stuck
- Garage door remote not working
- Garage door opens by itself

- Garage door won’t close with remote
- Garage door keypad not working
